Small Successes

Today I am celebrating a small success. I started using the Daily Plate on Livestrong.com again on Tuesday. It's basically a program that helps you keep track of your calories burned and caloric intake. You fill in your height/weight and goals and it helps you decide how many calories you should consume each day to reach your goal. I have used it before with great results. It has always seemed to be spot-on if I really follow it.

I'm glad to report that I started the program up on Tuesday and today I am 2lbs. down from my weight last week. That's 2 lbs. in just shy of one week. Yay! I did have two cheat meals while I was away in Nashville, but I didn't eat huge portions really, so I don't think it made a dent in my progress.

Speaking of the weekend, I had such a great time this weekend in Nashville with my girlfriends. My friend Kelse moved to downtown Nashville a few months ago and we finally made it down for a girls weekend. We lunched, shopped and went out Saturday night with a fun group of girls.
