Christmas Shopping & Recipe Review

First, I must say my Leftover Turkey Pot Pies on Sunday evening turned out fabulously! They were SO flavorful and actually very easy to make. If you cook fairly often, you probably have most of the spices this recipe calls for, so it was an inexpensive dish as well.

I think I will make these again sometime during the winter with chicken. Quentin really enjoyed them, although I think I gain a pound every time I eat a slice, so it will have to be an every-so-often dish.

On another note, I am happy to say I have gotten about 75% of the way through my Christmas shopping list! I get so excited when my Christmas tree has gifts under it. It is so much fun for me to find the perfect gift for those on my Christmas list. Some of my most exciting finds so far include pink glittery sparkly winter boots for our two nieces, Eden and Lilly, which I know they will just love. I also found some cute clothes for my brother and sister-in-law at American Eagle for 40% off and free shipping on Black Friday. Yes! Gift Baskets are also a big part of my gift list this year. We have a fabulous General Store at my workplace now, and we have so many unique gifts that work for almost everyone on my list. Our retail associates package them up so beautifully, I just can't wait to present them to my family members.

I'm still looking for a Christmas gift for our niece, Emberlie and our nephew, Sawyer, both infants. I was thinking some extra cute, snuggly pajamas might do the trick. I am sure they both have enough toys to keep them busy, but maybe a fun toy as well. Also still on my list, Quentin. I have a few items for him already and have pretty much planned out what I have left to purchase, but I'm still searching for a fun idea that is something he didn't ask for, but I know he'll enjoy. I like to find something he would never spend the money on for himself, but something I know he'll like. Any suggestions?
